As a supporter of our local student athletes and weekend warriors, Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic is offering additional availability on a walk-in basis at our Louisville location and 24-48 hour scheduling at our New Albany office. Patients will be treated by one of our six Sports Medicine providers.

This clinic is specifically for student athletes who have sustained an acute injury during practice, games, or conditioning. A recent, sudden injury requiring prompt care is considered acute. We are now extending this service to include weekend warriors who have sustained an acute injury.

Are there age requirements for treatment?
Our sports medicine providers will typically treat children at any age for a sports-related injury.

What should I do if I have a sports-related injury but it is not an acute injury?
If you have a sports-related injury that does not fall under the description of acute, please call our office to set up an appointment. Although your condition may not fall under the acute category, we are typically able to offer an appointment time within 24 to 48 hours of your call.
